As the National Merchandising Team Lead, you’ll be the key player behind our merchandising organization’s success. You’ll collaborate, coach, and spark excitement during every store visit, energizing our team with dynamic training and real‑time feedback that turbocharges performance. Your role is more than hitting targets; it’s about revolutionizing how we bring the LEGO® brand to life across the U.S. You’ll translate the US Merchandising direction into action with passion and finesse, working as the right‑hand person to our Field Manager. Key Responsibilities Inspire Leadership and Direction: Partner with the Field Manager to deliver clear guidance, ensuring merchandisers are motivated and aligned on weekly goals. Ignite Training and Development: Lead dynamic in‑store training sessions, equip merchandisers to forge strong partnerships, uncover opportunities for impactful product placements, and provide targeted mentoring. Drive Performance Analysis: Use reporting tools to analyze execution and compliance, provide coaching that elevates team and store performance, and reinforce learning. Amplify Insights and Strategy: Share insights and best practices that optimize merchandising strategies and resources; offer feedback to the Field Manager for training adjustments based on market data. Champion Retail Engagement: Stay connected to retailer priorities, position The LEGO® Group as a standout leader in shopper engagement, and cultivate a network of contacts to achieve sales objectives. Harness Field Intelligence: Collect and share vital intelligence, collaborating to deliver powerful regional and national updates. Foster Support and Communication: Create a supportive culture by addressing day‑to‑day inquiries from merchandisers. Qualifications Retail and merchandising experience preferred. Must live within 30 miles of Phoenix, AZ. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication. Prior leadership roles and/or strong leadership skills. Results‑oriented, detail oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and time. Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships. Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite; proven ability to learn new technologies quickly. Local weekly travel within territory, may require some overnights. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and climb a ladder up to 12 feet. Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, good DMV record. Comfortable using new tools and technology and willing to troubleshoot. Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities. Thrives and contributes best in a team setting.
