Civil Engineering Project ManagerVerdantas is looking for a dynamic Civil Engineering Project Manager to help drive our expanding portfolio of projects in New Hampshire. This position can be located in any of our NH offices, including; Hanover, Littleton, Manchester, New London, Newmarket, North Conway, or Ossipee.In this role, you'll oversee a variety of engineering and design initiatives for both private and municipal clients, while managing project delivery, client relationships, and the workload of technical staff. You'll also contribute to marketing efforts and business development under the guidance of senior leadership. Named the #1 firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group, you'll be part of a team that values your impact, supports your growth, and celebrates your success every step of the way.What You'll Do:Oversee civil engineering design of municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional projects, including site design and permittingPrepare reports and permit applications related to civil engineering projectsDesign and manage various civil engineering-related projects, including drainage collection, detention, and treatment systems, water and wastewater systems, roads and parking areas, pedestrian facilities, stream crossings, and other related project typesDevelop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementationManage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectivelyMonitor project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and financial objectives are metIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impactCommunicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior managementEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting the required quality standardsLead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and recordsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field6-12 years of professional experience in the practice of civil engineering; New Hampshire design and permitting experience preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredPMP or related Project Management certification, preferredExperience with AutoCAD design software, including Civil3DExperience with HydroCAD stormwater analysis software or similarTechnical experience and sound understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, including stormwater/drainage design, surface water hydrology, water and wastewater systems, culvert design, and roadway/parking designProject management experience, or management ability, and willingness to learnValid driver's license and personal vehicle; occasional travel requiredAbility to complete field work, including carrying equipment and walking on an undeveloped siteSalary Range: $80,000 - $120,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.Benefits:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
