Assistant Project Manager

We’re building something extraordinary, and we hope you’ll be part of it. Primary Responsibilities Assist with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs. Help manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents. Take a leadership role in the QA/QC process, material expediting and tracking. Aid in the management of subcontractors and other team members. Ensure all onsite operations are conducted safely, on‑time, on‑budget and to our quality standards. Build strong client/owner relationships and support business development efforts. Coordinate the purchasing of essential safety supplies, products, or training items. Position will be based at a construction project located in Wilton, CT or New Haven, CT. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred; or 3‑5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2‑3 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management of multifamily, tenant fit‑out or hospitality renovation projects in the $1 million – $10 million dollar range. Thorough knowledge and understanding of project budgeting and job costing. General contracting and/or construction subcontracting experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication. Proven supervisory/management skills and ability to motivate/manage team. Position will be based at a construction project located in Wilton, CT or New Haven, CT.
