Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing luxury residential and construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional seeking hands-on experience in high-end construction within a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

Assist in managing multiple residential construction projects simultaneously
Support scheduling, budgeting, and procurement processes
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and clients
Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Documentation & Administration

Maintain project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Track project progress, costs, and timelines
Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and status reports

Field Support

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of workmanship
Assist in resolving field issues and coordinating with site supervisors
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes

Client & Team Communication

Support communication between clients, architects, and internal teams
Help maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness and professionalism

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination (residential experience preferred)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with construction/project management software is a plus
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

Exposure to high-end or custom residential construction
Familiarity with budgeting, estimating, and scheduling tools
Experience working with architects and design teams
