Press Operator

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting Press Operators for a local fabrication company! If you have manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and enjoy working with heavy production equipment, this could be a great opportunity to build your skills and grow with an established fabrication team. Set up and operate press equipment according to production specifications Load and position materials correctly before each production cycle Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and job instructions Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality Make machine adjustments as needed Monitor equipment throughout production Identify and report equipment or quality issues Complete production paperwork as required Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read blueprints and production instructions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to use measuring tools accurately Good hand-eye coordination Strong attention to detail Ability to recognize quality issues and inconsistencies Dependable and punctual Detail-oriented Self-motivated Team-oriented Able to follow instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced fabrication environment Experience & Education Previous press operation, metal fabrication, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred Experience with industrial machinery is a plus High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movement Ability to safely lift and move materials as required Comfortable working around industrial machinery and fabrication equipment Depending on the position, operators may work with: Press brakes Measuring tools Hand and power tools Full-time, long-term opportunity Weekly pay Hands-on manufacturing experience Opportunity to expand your fabrication and machine-operation skills Work with an established local company Location/Region: Saint Joseph, MO #J-18808-Ljbffr
