Job TitleEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gearFollow established work procedures to minimize rework and scrapPrepare parts for painting or powder coating by sanding down units and/or masking unitsApply paint or protective coatings to a variety of sized parts using a spray gunConduct quality inspections on products and partsDispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate mannerMaintain a clean and orderly work areaUphold the company core valuesOther duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:Previous experience in manufacturing working with painting or powder coatingExperience with HVLP or conventional spray gunsExperience using calipers and measuring thickness of partsAbility to handle physical workloadAbility to work well in teamsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentMust have the knowledge and experience necessary for the positionMust be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervisionMust be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performedEducation and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
