What You'll Do

As the voice of the organization, you'll help create a seamless and positive patient experience by:

• Managing 75+ inbound patient calls daily in a busy healthcare call center
• Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments with accuracy and efficiency
• Utilizing Epic EMR to document patient interactions and maintain accurate records
• Answering patient questions and providing exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism
• Coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure patients receive the support they need
• Maintaining up-to-date patient registration and demographic information
• Meeting productivity and quality goals while delivering outstanding service
• Multitasking across scheduling systems, Epic, and phone platforms with confidence
• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting ongoing process improvements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Epic EMR experience (required)
• Previous medical scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
• Customer service and/or call center experience
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical receptionist or healthcare front desk experience
• Experience in orthopedic or specialty practice settings
• Familiarity with healthcare scheduling workflows
• Proven ability to build rapport with patients and create positive experiences

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southington, CT.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
