Overview The Account Executive supports the Director, Manager and Senior Account Executive with retailer project execution. Duties will vary by project and include supporting asset management, system updates, internal communications, meeting coordination/scheduling, meeting recaps, vendor communications, and budget/finance support. The Account Executive responsibilities are inclusive of execution for both managed service (including RFP facilitation as requested) and self‑service (for on and offsite display) campaigns as retailer needs dictate. Additionally, they support AdOps/tagging executed via the ad ops specialist ensure proper briefing and reporting. As assigned they support and execute budget management, campaign performance monitoring/recaps and advertiser portfolio analysis. The Account Executive owns other duties as assigned by the SAE, Manager or Director. Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to Mars United Commerce's Chicago, Detroit (Troy) or Cincinnati office for a hybrid work schedule. Primary Responsibilities Build productive relationships and communications with cross‑functional teams (answer questions/provide direction) to keep projects moving forward Support project recaps and summaries as requested Develop knowledge of assigned brand or retailer brand positioning(s), understanding competitors, short and long‑term goals, consumer/shopper targets and marketing strategies Tactically support programs (development of timelines, trafficking and review of materials, estimation of costs, etc.) including briefing of AdOps and tagging support Manage and support projects effectively from start to finish Support budget management ensuring program estimates and actuals are managed to hours and costs Manage electronic job jackets/billing information Develop proficiency across all Mars internal workflow and financial management systems Work effectively and efficiently with various internal departments Maintain and update team reports, including weekly status, marketplace assessments, etc. All other duties as assigned by Manager or Director Skill Sets Required Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field Minimum of 3 years of shopper marketing, media or advertising experience, preferably agency experience in retailer promotions Strong computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines and work well under pressure Detail orientation and ability to multitask across fluid workload Proactive nature in seeking work/responsibility Dependability in execution of work and as member of assigned team Enthusiastic, "can do" attitude in accepting work/new challenges Desire to learn all aspects of the Shopper Marketing discipline Effective interpersonal skills working well across functions Conscientious work ethic Benefits Paid Family Care for parents and caregivers for 12 weeks or more Monetary assistance and support for Adoption, Surrogacy and Fertility Monetary assistance and support for pet adoption Employee Assistance Programs and Health/Wellness/Comfort reimbursements to help you invest in your future and work/life balance Tuition Assistance Paid time off that includes Flexible Time off Vacation, Annual Sick Days, Volunteer Days, Holiday and Identity days, and more Matching Gifts programs Flexible working arrangements "Work Your World" Program encouraging employees to work from anywhere—Publicis Groupe has an office for up to 6 weeks a year (based upon eligibility) Business Resource Groups that support multiple affinities and alliances The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
