Travel-Certified Surgical Technologist

Location: Eastern Idaho

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, three times per week with rotation of weekend call every four weeks.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Travel-Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to start on or after 10/26. The Surgical Technologist will assist in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring a sterile environment and preparing the operating room for surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with high acuity patients in the Operating Room.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Provide support during surgical procedures across specialties, including but not limited to burn, dental, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, open heart, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, psychiatry, robotics, trauma, and urology.
• Participate in call shifts which may include evening or night staffing as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in an operating room environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
