Cardiac ICU Registered NurseThis is a 13-week contract position with a Night shift of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strong Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse with experience in critical care settings such as CCU or CVICU. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of advanced cardiac devices and diagnoses commonly found in our patient population, including LVAD, Impella, IABP, and CRRT. The position requires comprehensive care for cardiac/medical intensive care patients as well as some step-down overflow.ResponsibilitiesProvide care for patients with advanced cardiac devices and diagnoses.Manage dysrhythmias and perform interpretations as needed.Administer medications and treatments, including continuous IV sedation and blood products.Conduct post-cardiac surgery care and pre/post-cardiac catheter interventions.Perform arterial line management, hemodynamic monitoring, and CRRT.Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 for intensive care.Support interdisciplinary collaboration with various medical teams.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years of cardiac ICU experience.Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.Experience with Epic EMR preferred.Knowledge and experience in post-operative care (not directly from the OR) and sheath removal.Demonstrated ability to care for ventilated patients and manage invasive lines.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
