The Advisory Services Consultant - EDS - Remote is part of the Optum Advisory - Enterprise Delivery Services (EDS) consulting practice. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify issues, establish objectives, develop recommendations, and implement solutions for our clients Perform project management duties including work plan development, stakeholder management, and creation of engagement artifacts for clientsLeverage AI‑enabled tools to support and accelerate consulting delivery activities while improving efficiency and outcomesMonitor, manage, and document project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle, proactively identifying emerging issues and driving appropriate actions to maintain project alignment and momentumDevelop, communicate, and execute comprehensive project risk and issue management plans, including mitigation and escalation strategies to minimize impact and ensure successful deliveryDrive outcomes without direct authority, engaging team members in a cross-functional environmentConduct research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending, and presenting data and recommendations to managementDefine, develop, and document business requirements to ensure clients' needs are captured and delivered Work closely with Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Architects, Business Partners, and other Technology teams to ensure requirements and design are completely understood Assist in quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test scripts, executing test cases, and documenting defectsEffectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external clientsProvide clear communications (oral and written) and share knowledge at all levels of the organization Ensure that the engagement performs consistent with expected client value and internal financial targetsLimited travel may be required for this role (less than 25% on average over a year's time but may involve Monday through Thursday travel for multiple concurrent weeks to satisfy specific client project requirements).
