Welder (MIG)

Join our team as a MIG Welder to work on AG/Cultivation equipment. This role involves welding and fabricating tractor parts in a dynamic and busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting tasks, focusing on thick steel and hot welding.
• Comfortably engage in fabrication tasks and set up own welding machine.
• Read and interpret blueprints and recognize weld symbols.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and adjust machine heat settings as required.

• Proficiency in MIG welding and fitting.
• Ability to read blueprints and recognize weld symbols.
• Comfortable with fabrication tasks.

• Experience with forklift operation, bills of lading, and shipping/receiving.
• Proficiency with fabrication equipment such as drills and presses.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, with the potential to transition into a full-time welder role. You will have the chance to practice and train in a supportive environment, with opportunities to expand your skills.

Work Environment

Work in a new facility located in Selma, operating during 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime. The environment is busy with backorders, requiring flexibility for Saturday work. Dress appropriately for a manufacturing setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selma, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
