Accounts Payable Merchandise Associate Reports To: Accounts Payable Merchandise Supervisor Status: Non-Exempt At Boot Barn, we prioritize community, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. As an Accounts Payable Merchandise Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity and administrative efficiency. Your contributions will help us ensure smooth operations and uphold our values. Key Responsibilities Conduct three-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and receiving report) to ensure all financial processes adhere to established guidelines. Analyze low volume vendor statements to identify and research any unpaid invoices, resolving discrepancies with effective communication across departments. Efficiently upload emailed invoices to OCR software (Ancora), verify their accuracy, and submit them to merchandising software (Aptos) for receipt matching. Perform data entry or scanning of paper invoices. Assist with mail functions as necessary. Organize and file documents to maintain a streamlined workflow. Complete additional tasks and projects as required. Maintain a high standard of quality in work, attendance, and appearance. Exhibit professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers, and management. Comply with all local, federal, and state laws, along with company policies and procedures.
