Step into a rewarding role supporting students in dynamic school settings near Creswell, OR. This contract opportunity spans the academic year from September 8, 2026, to June 17, 2027, working across two high schools and one elementary school. You’ll experience a fulfilling balance—spending half your week at the Westmoreland campus, where you’ll assist students with special education needs, and the other half at Lane schools, focusing on facilitating socialization and communication.

As a key Speech-Language Pathologist, you will manage a caseload of about 33 students, dedicated to advancing their life skills programming. While experience with feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and AAC devices is highly valued, a passion for learning and helping students thrive counts just as much—coaching and training in these areas are available if needed. You’ll work independently on-site, backed by a robust team including SLPs, special education staff, paraprofessionals, and monthly team meetings for collaboration and support.

What You Bring:

• Certification as an SLP (CCC required)
• Experience or an eagerness to work in school settings
• Interest in supporting students with life skills programming
• Training or willingness to learn feeding/swallowing and use AAC
• Strong communication, organization, and self-motivation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services in both group and individual settings
• Support safe eating and communication through AAC as needed
• Complete thorough documentation in compliance with school protocols
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
• Foster social and communication growth for diverse learners
