About the Position

Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Towson, MD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear stress tests in a high-volume outpatient and inpatient setting
• Conduct HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies
• Operate GE imaging equipment including SPECT CT (G850)
• Provide on-call coverage on weekdays (4:00 PM–10:00 PM, twice per week) and every other weekend (either Saturday or Sunday)
• Float within the specialty and to other units within scope as required
• Work holidays as scheduled and adhere to block scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (N) – Nuclear Medicine certification required
• Active ARRT (R) – Radiography certification required
• NMTCB certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Active Maryland state license required at time of submission
• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with GE nuclear medicine imaging equipment and SPECT CT platforms
• Experience in high-volume nuclear medicine environments with diverse scan types
• Comfort with floating across units and sister facilities within scope
