Overview: Faux is seeking a full-time PREP COOK to join our opening team!
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Prep Cook or similar role
- Fundamental knowledge on cooking techniques, knife skills and food safety
- Able to follow systems, recipes and directions
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Follow all BOH systems, processes, and daily checklists
- Prep and cook food ensuring quality, safety and time standards are met
- Keep a clean, organized workspace while following all food safety standards
- Receiving and organizing deliveries
- Follow all procedures for restock, set up and breakdown of assigned areas
- Communicate clearly with the BOH team to keep service smooth and efficient
- Contribute to a positive, accountable kitchen culture
