Overview Full-Time Loan Servicing Officer Industry: Non-profit organization specializing in SBA 504 loans Location: Tallahassee, FL Compensation: Annual salary commensurate with experience + full benefit package that includes a generous IRA contribution. We are Florida First Capital Finance Corporation (FFCFC), a self-sufficient non-profit organization with offices throughout Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. We help small businesses access capital through the SBA 504 loan program to drive economic development and job creation, with a focus on minority, rural, and women-owned businesses. Location: Tallahassee, FL Essential Functions / Responsibilities Learn and retain program details and requirements to appropriately service SBA 504 loans Accurately organize documents, adhering to federal requirements, internal policies, and naming conventions Utilize all Microsoft Office products and learn FFCFC’s internal web-based programs Consistently communicate and follow up with borrowers as needed Mandatory Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least one (1) year of professional experience as an administrative assistant, executive admin assistant, paralegal, or a specialist in banking or real estate Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, in the Tallahassee, FL office Ability to pass a rigorous background check Requirements / Candidate Qualities Computer-savvy with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional communication skills (phone, email, and messaging) Experience with reviewing loan files to determine compliance issues is helpful but not required Currently live in Tallahassee, FL or willing to relocate (ties to the area are a plus) Willing to work in an office setting most of the workweek (occasional work-from-home days possible after training) Ability to pass a rigorous criminal background check Benefits Annual salary commensurate with experience Culture that supports collaboration, teamwork, training, and professional growth Close-knit team environment Health insurance through Capital Health Plan (100% employer paid for the employee; partial coverage for family) Dental insurance (100% employer-paid) Optional vision insurance Life and long-term disability insurance (100% employer paid) Voluntary flexible spending account (FSA) Simple IRA contributions by employer, typically no less than 20% 12 vacation days and 10 sick days accrued per year Seven paid holidays per year Flexible, full-time work hours (occasional remote work can be discussed) About Us / Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
