Direct Support Professional/ Community Day Services

Location: Des Plaines, IL
Pay: 21.60/Hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Location and pay are fixed for this position.

Driving Requirement

A valid driver's license is required. Employees must be willing to drive company vehicles. Proof of a valid driver's license is required at the time of interview.

About the Position

Rimland is seeking dependable, professional, energetic, and compassionate DSPs to support adults with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily living activities

• Meal preparation

• Art projects and recreational activities

• Supporting social skills and independence

• Providing companionship

• Supporting individual goals

No prior DSP experience required. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

Applicants must successfully complete:

• Fingerprint criminal background check

• Child abuse and neglect check

• Drug screening

Applicants must also provide:

• Original high school diploma, GED, or college transcript

• Two years of residency history

• Current original documents verifying identity and authorization to work in the U.S.

• Two verifiable employment references from the past three years

• Proof of a valid driver's license at the time of interview
