You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.76 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Maintain required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while following applicable laws, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
