Ideally seeking experienced Perfusionists but open to considering sharp, motivated new grad perfusionists. Position details: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Perfusionist. The Staff Perfusionist is responsible for the safety and treatment of patients needing extracorporeal circulation. Duties include, but are not limited to: Working as clinical perfusionist, Intraoperative Blood Salvage, Point of Care Testing, ECMO, VADS, completing satisfactory performance appraisals and competency assessments, clinical education and completing departmental projects in a timely manner. Position requirements: Ideally seeking perfusionists with a couple years of experience, however open to training sharp, motivated new grads. ABCP certification Experience with Cardiopulmonary bypass and cardio pulmonary support devices, intra-aortic balloon pump, ventricular assist devices, blood salvage and conservation equipment, ECMO, and mechanical circulatory support (MCS). Proficient computer knowledge to assist with the needs of the department. Bachelor degree required; Masters Degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited perfusion program.
