Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This opportunity is based in Detroit, MI at a hospital setting. Expect to work collaboratively with radiology and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred certifications to be ARDMS or CCI).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
• Experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a hospital environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate ultrasound equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with patients and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional specialty credentials (for example, vascular or cardiac sonography) preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and imaging information systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1500-2300.
• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Expected hours: 40 per week.
