About the Role

Are you an experienced Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management professional who enjoys negotiating with suppliers, driving cost savings, and partnering with senior business leaders?

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across Professional Services , including IT Consulting, IT Services, 3rd-Party Labor Management, Consulting, and Business Advisory Services .

This is a highly visible role where you will have the opportunity to influence sourcing strategies, manage complex supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities that deliver measurable value to the business.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management strategies to achieve competitive pricing, improved service, and cost savings.
• Lead RFPs, RFIs, market scans, supplier evaluations, and sourcing initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Partner with business stakeholders and senior leadership to understand requirements, business pipelines, forecasts, and future sourcing needs.
• Conduct supplier, industry, market, pricing, and risk analysis to support data-driven procurement decisions.
• Lead contract negotiations and develop favorable commercial terms with suppliers.
• Manage contract compliance, supplier performance, and ongoing vendor relationships.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and vendor rationalization .
• Develop category strategies, sourcing roadmaps, and recommendations aligned with business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders, business partners, and external suppliers .
• Independently manage escalations and resolve complex supplier or stakeholder issues.
• Manage multiple sourcing projects, contracts, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and sourcing recommendations to senior management .
• Mentor and support junior procurement team members.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, supplier capabilities, and factors affecting assigned categories.
  

What We're Looking For

• 6–9 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Category Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline , or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong experience with strategic sourcing and procurement processes .
• Hands-on experience with Professional Services, IT Consulting, IT Services, Consulting, or Business Advisory categories is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with contract negotiation and contract management .
• Proven ability to conduct pricing, supplier, market, and risk analysis .
• Experience with supplier rationalization and vendor management .
• Strong project management and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior-level stakeholders .
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and time-sensitive situations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .
• Demonstrated thought leadership and strong business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in IT Services / IT Consulting procurement
• Professional Services category management experience
• Healthcare or insurance industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management
• Experience working with large, complex organizations and multiple stakeholder groups
