Job Overview We’re looking for a Salesperson passionate about fashion and styling, who can cultivate and grow a customer following both digitally and in‑store. Responsibilities Set and achieve sales goals for in‑store and digital sales, using selling tools such as text and social media. Build lasting relationships with customers and provide service on their terms. Give honest and confident feedback to customers regarding style and fit. Develop fashion and product knowledge to build expertise. Work with the team to keep the department ready, including filling orders, stocking, re‑merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning. Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts. Qualifications Excellent communication and people skills. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented focus. Strong interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals. Able to excel in a team environment. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Organization and follow‑through. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs. Physical Requirements Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching. Handling merchandise and assisting customers, grasping, pushing, pulling, and occasionally lifting items up to 25 pounds. Pay and Incentives Hourly pay range: $21.90–$21.90. Commission varies by merchandise: apparel, shoes and accessories ranging from 3% to 14.5%, beauty and men’s fragrance typically 3%. May be eligible for performance‑based incentives or bonuses.
