Category Manager

As our Category Manager, you'll drive strategic growth through effective supplier relationship management, leveraging Millennium’s purchasing power to maximize value for the company and its suppliers. This role requires a strong P&L mindset, using advanced analytics to gain insights into supplier performance and market opportunities. This role will negotiate skillfully, fostering win/win outcomes that enhance customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth. Key responsibilities include defining and executing strategies that optimize category management and continuously managing and nurturing supplier relationships to ensure long-term success for all parties. What You'll Do Strategic Sourcing and managing supplier relationships Negotiating contracts, prices, and other aspects of purchasing relationships with suppliers Analyze purchasing, sales, and other relevant data and market insights to develop, execute, and monitor purchasing and supplier strategies Collaborate with suppliers and relevant stakeholders to resolve issues that may impact operations, customer experience, or supplier relationships Develop processes, metrics, and visibility tools to streamline category strategies. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or a related role. Proven track record of success in sourcing, supplier relationship management, negotiation, data analysis, strategy development, and execution. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
