Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical

Location

Arlington, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, Friday / Saturday / Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform and assist with unit-level procedures including abdominal fluid removal and central line placement
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
• Float to inpatient Medical Surgical units as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LVNs, techs, and HUC staff

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care experience
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with standard medical/surgical equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro Med/Surgical background
• Experience in general medicine and orthopedics
• Collaborative, patient-centered personality with strong interpersonal skills
