Surgical Coordinator ENT Surgery

Nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive and patient centered care for individuals with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck. Expected to work collaboratively with the Otolaryngologist and the healthcare team Responsible to evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage both acute and chronic ENT conditions in both an outpatient and inpatient setting The NP would work primarily in the outpatient clinic during designated clinic times with occasional hospital rounds and surgical assistance as needed The NP would also be responsible for evaluating and managing Hospital Inpatient consults and Emergency room consults in consultation with the ENT attending. This would include the evaluation of consults placed overnight. Basic knowledge of ENT diseases and disorders is preferred as well as the ability to make diagnostic and clinical decisions The Nurse Practitioner must be able to work independently while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams and have strong organizational and time management skills Requirements Preferred Criteria: Minimum three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner Required Criteria: Master’s degree in advanced Practice BSN Current NYS NP & RN License NYS NP certification (FNP) BLS from American Heart Association Strong communication andinterpersonalskills Regular or Temporary Regular Salary Range $145K - $155 Position Type Full-time EEO is the Law #J-18808-Ljbffr SBH Health System
