Travel Respiratory Therapist - Adult Critical Care - $1,740 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Greenville, South Carolina. Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment type: Travel We're looking for a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for an immediate travel position opening in Greenville, SC. The right CRT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Responsibilities As a CRT, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, and maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Physical Requirements Certified Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Respiratory Therapists should be able to lift at least 20 pounds, and moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Vision abilities must include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Certifications and Qualifications Must have 1 year of experience. Must have NBRC-CRT, BLS, and ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
