Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care - $1,740 per week

The right RT should have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function. Report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support. Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. They should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Respiratory Therapists must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
