Doctor of Medicine | Urology Location: Kearney, NE Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $24 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Urologist Assignment Details Location: Nebraska Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: Urology Practice Setting: Emergency Department / Surgery / Hospital Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage Need: 1.0 FTE Trauma Level: Level II EMR: Epic Reason for Coverage: Gap Coverage Compensation Tier 1 24-Hour Call (4 Hours Gratis): $31,145 per 24 Hours Call Back: $390/hour Tier 2 24-Hour Call (4 Hours Gratis): $3,510 per 24 Hours Call Back: $430/hour Schedule 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM-7:00 AM Average Worked Call Back: Approximately 1-2 Hours Call Volume Varies Some Days May Have No Urology Consults From the Emergency Department Busier Days May Have Approximately 4-5 Consults Current Coverage Dates November 26-November 30, 2026 December 24-December 28, 2026 Provider Availability Must Be Included at Time of Submission Clinical Responsibilities Provide Urology Call Coverage Receive Handoff From Urologists as Appropriate Provide Emergency Department Urology Consultations Provide Surgical Urology Coverage Perform General Urology Procedures Respond to Call Back as Clinically Necessary Hospitalists Manage Patient Admissions Required Procedures / Skills General Urology Emergency Urology Consultations Urology Call Coverage Epic Proficiency or Willingness to Learn Epic Clinical Environment / Support Surgery Nurses and Technicians Available On Call Hospitalist Team Manages Admissions Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology - Required MD or DO - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Urology - Required Nebraska Medical License - Highly Preferred DEA Registration - Required Clean Malpractice History - Highly Preferred Availability at Time of Name Clear - Required Epic Proficiency or Willingness to Learn Epic - Required Case Logs From the Previous 2 Years - Required at Time of Presentation Case Logs Must Be Provided Before the Client Will Interview or Offer a Provider CSH History Must Be Disclosed on the Provider Submission Page, If Applicable Credentialing Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 3-4 Weeks Minimum Provider Will Require Payor Enrollment
