Job DescriptionNAPA Auto Parts is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Inventory Specialist to join our rapidly growing team of Auto Parts professionals. As an Inventory Control Associate and an important part of the Store team, your focus is on managing store inventory to the highest standards of accuracy. PrimaryResponsibilitiesTrack inventory with precision and complete daily reports for the IBSPull overstocked, obsolete auto parts and other product from the stores and package them for shipmentManage sales floor stock and price label updatesAssist team members with projects as neededFocus on continuous improvement in processes and proceduresInspect, protect and maintain company facilities, inventory, equipment and all other assetsParticipate in three complete inventory cycle counts of the IBS per year with efficiency and accuracyMaintain a clean, organized stockroom environmentQualificationsPrior inventory and merchandising management experience a plus Strong organization, planning and problem solving skills Personal drive, action-oriented, quick learnerAbility to thrive in a busy, fast-paced team environment as well as work independentlyAdept in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and ExcelDesire to go above and beyond the job descriptionValid Driver's License and/or Reliable transportation a mustThis position offers an hourly pay of $18. Many of our hourly positions have pay progression with set starting rates and you reach the top end of this range within 12 months of hire. For other positions, the starting rate will be determined based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
