Job Opportunity: Addiction Psychiatrist

Our organization, affiliated with a prominent medical institution, is looking for a full-time, board-certified Addiction Psychiatrist. This role is ideal for someone passionate about medical education and curriculum development, as you will play a crucial role in shaping our newly established Residency Training Program. The Attending Psychiatrist will be responsible for delivering direct patient care within the Psychiatry department, focusing on addiction treatment in an outpatient environment, as well as providing consultations and prescribing services in the emergency departments and inpatient units of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the development of the Residency Training Program.
• Provide direct patient care, including addiction treatment in outpatient settings.
• Offer consultations and prescribing services in emergency and inpatient settings.

Qualifications:

• MD degree with board certification in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry.
• Current New York State medical license.
• Active Medicaid number and DEA registration.
