Mechanical Engineer

Job Title Mechanical Engineer – Monroe, WI Responsibilities The role is responsible for performing various engineering assignments designing and developing burner and boiler-related equipment, using CAD/CAM software including AutoCAD and Inventor, to meet and exceed customer needs. The engineer will provide technical support, analyze and evaluate issues to develop effective solutions, and communicate technical information to other departments and stakeholders. Analyze testing results, operations data, and other issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions that ensure equipment availability and reliability. Communicate issues concerning component production and operations to management, clarify field issues with operations personnel, present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public. Translate technical guidance from senior engineers or engineering management into usable engineering data applicable to assigned products. Design and build complex equipment and machinery, developing innovative approaches and solutions; initiate or direct changes to products, procedures, or specifications as directed by senior engineers. Work across departments and establish relationships with customers and suppliers. Apply principles of calculus, trigonometry, and advanced mathematics for analysis, design, and troubleshooting. Apply mechanical engineering concepts and processes to design new devices and visualize engineering concepts more easily. Identify issues, analyze data, and develop solutions while minimizing impact on project budgets, timelines, production, or operational capabilities. Work in a normal office, design/drafting environment, and occasionally at production plants with welding, machining, and fabrication operations. Education and Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: One year of experience in product engineering preferred; willingness to train. Combustion/burner experience highly preferred. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor). Physical Requirements Limited manual dexterity required and infrequent physical effort.
