Hospitalist Advance Practice Provider (NP/PA) Opportunity with Rochester Regional Health – St. Lawrence Region. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered inpatient care in a collaborative health system within a close‑knit community. Position Highlights Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) Full‑time role with comprehensive inpatient responsibilities Opportunity for clinical autonomy while connected to a large integrated health system Access to advanced technology, specialty support, and system‑wide resources Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current New York State licensure or eligibility for licensure National certification as an NP or PA Hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, or inpatient experience preferred Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision‑making skills Ability to work independently overnight while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams BS in Physician Assistant (required); additional education or certifications welcome Opportunity Details Perform admissions, patient evaluations, daily rounding, and discharge planning Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in collaboration with physician colleagues Coordinate care with specialists, nursing teams, case management, rehabilitation services, and ancillary departments Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Develop strong relationships with patients and families during hospitalization Flexible scheduling options designed to support work‑life balance Supportive and collaborative physician and APP team environment Practice Location Canton‑Potsdam Hospital (ICU experience preferred) Massena Hospital Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $150,000* Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with employer contribution Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Visa sponsorship opportunities available Physical Requirements Medium work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
