We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and passionate Certified Lead Teacher to join our childcare team.

Requirements:

1. Must meet all required qualifications for a Head Teacher position.

2. Early childhood education or related educational field.

3. Previous childcare/teaching experience.

4. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices.

5. Reliable, responsible, and professional.

6. Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

8. Must be able to work effectively with children, families and staff.

9. Have a current BCIS (background check).

10. Must know state regulations/or able to familiarize yourself with them.

Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality care and education to children.

2. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.

3. Maintain a safe, clean and positive classroom environment.

4. Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.

5. Communicate professionally with families and team members.

6. Follow all childcare center policies and state licensing regulations.

7. Maintain required classroom documentation and records.

Compensation

$18.00-$24.00 an hr, Paid holidays and week of Christmas paid based on education, experience and qualifications.
