Requirements

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license (NJ)
CPR Certification (required)
AED Certification (preferred)
Entry-level candidates welcome—under 1 year experience accepted
Knowledge of dental assisting and medical terminology a plus
Positive, goal-oriented attitude with a pleasing personality and great smile
Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Strong communication skills and emotional stability to support team growth
Ability to transfer patients safely
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable standing and sitting intermittently throughout the day
Ability to commute or relocate to Ocean, NJ (required)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Provide professional dental hygiene care including periodontal therapy, prophylaxis, and radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Assist in patient smile makeovers and treatment planning
Maintain accurate patient records and charts
Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment
Support the dental team in delivering an efficient, positive patient experience
Maintain a timely schedule and assist with patient recall and reappointment efforts
Cross-train for front office tasks as needed

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 8:45 am – 4:00 pm
Tuesday: 8:45 am – 6:00 pm (includes 30-minute lunch)
Wednesday: 8:45 am – 2:00 pm (once a month)
Thursday: 8:45 am – 7:00 pm (includes 1-hour lunch; office provides lunch)
Every other Saturday: 8:45 am – 2:00 pm
