As a Construction Project Manager, you’ll lead multiple hospital projects end-to-end - owning schedule, budget, and quality - while partnering with architects, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders to keep work moving and standards high. You’ll manage bidding and awards, run weekly status meetings, conduct milestone site visits and punch walks, and ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and up to VEG’s quality bar - all while building strong relationships with our VQ and hospital teams.WHAT YOU’LL DOManage multiple projects with full responsibility for developing the schedule, cost management, and quality of the completed project.Participate in the bidding and awarding of projectsSupervise assigned projects and provide reports on timeline and progressPerform final punch list inspections and ensure all work adheres to VEG’s quality standards Interact with the Design and Construction team to resolve issues regarding design, engineering, and constructionCollaborate with stakeholders to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures and construction/design issuesDevelop and maintain good working relationships with our front line teamsAttend weekly meetings with contractor and architects to discuss status of all existing projectsMaintain consistent communication with Property Manager/Landlords as neededAttend milestone site visits for each projectBuild and maintain strong relationships with VQ + local leadership teamsWHAT YOU NEEDBachelor's degree required5+ years experience in multi-site project managementMinimum 5 years of experience owner side retail construction project managementExperience in interior fitouts, building from ground up, and remodeling open businessesStrong ability to negotiate with contractors and hold them accountable for delivering projects on time, on budget, and within VEG’s quality standardsStrong organizational skills and precise attention to detail Tech and software savvy, proficient in Procore is a huge plusEffective communication and follow up skillsAbility to travel at least 50% of the timeWHO YOU AREEmpathetic, instinctively taking a people-centric approach, whether supporting your colleagues or making an effort to understand different perspectivesHave a sense of humility; acknowledging mistakes, sharing credit with others, and lifting up your team’s’ accomplishmentsFeel a strong sense of ownership over your work, taking responsibility for outcomes and staying committed to achieving long-term, impactful results Curious by nature; you ask insightful questions and continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow your skills and knowledgeHOW WE INVEST IN YOUCompetitive Compensation Including ($120,000-$145,000) + bonus + benefits.Comprehensive health and wellness benefits that start on day one, and access to free therapy or counselingPaid parental leave, up to 10 weeks at 100% of regular salary, and offering inclusive fertility and family-building care for all types of familiesUnlimited PTO to use for vacation or sick days—however you need it!
