Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is for a Registered Nurse who will be part of a float pool, providing care to patients across medical-surgical units and rehabilitation settings as needed. The role requires flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the patient population and nursing staff.

Shift Requirements

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Weekends: Required as needed, likely every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day). If the contract only includes 2 of these holidays, the traveler will be expected to work at least 1 holiday.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of nursing experience
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; EPIC experience preferred
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required with allowances for medical or religious exemptions
• Flu Vaccine: Required with allowances for medical or religious exemptions

Floating and Patient Care

The Registered Nurse will float as needed between medical-surgical and telemetry units as well as rehabilitation settings, providing high-quality patient care in various environments. Understanding of dysrhythmias, management of rapid response situations, and adherence to isolation precautions are essential.
