ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my State Farm agency in July 2025 and currently have a team of three dedicated professionals. Before becoming an agent, I spent 18 years in home lending, including time as a manager with JP Morgan Chase. About four years ago, I made the transition into the insurance world and quickly discovered that the independence, entrepreneurship, and opportunity for impact that come with agency ownership were exactly what I was looking for.

I grew up in Howard and Montgomery County, and I’m proud to serve the same community that helped shape me. Outside the office, I coach my son’s soccer team and stay connected through affiliations with Howard Community College and various local organizations. Each year, our agency participates in charity work supporting local religious centers and community initiatives.

I offer my team 15 days of PTO annually, a health stipend, a strong focus on work-life balance, and a $500 bonus for each license obtained before your start date. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Hasan Jamil - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
