Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

LHH is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a mid-level to senior Labor & Employment Litigation Associate with 4–5 years of experience to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated employment litigation matters, work directly with clients, and take significant ownership of cases from inception through resolution. Key Responsibilities Manage and support all phases of labor & employment litigation, including pre-litigation counseling through trial and resolution Draft and respond to pleadings, motions (including dispositive motions), and discovery requests Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex employment law issues Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts Manage discovery, including document review, production, and strategy Prepare for hearings, mediations, arbitration, and trial Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and risk assessment Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Qualifications Required: 4–5 years of labor & employment litigation experience or a blend of L&E and other relevant sophisticated litigation experience Strong background in handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, and/or wrongful termination matters Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience taking depositions and managing discovery What Sets This Opportunity Apart Meaningful responsibility and client interaction Collaborative and highly regarded Labor & Employment practice Clear path for professional development and advancement Exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters Competitive base salary range: $150,000+ (commensurate with experience) Bonus eligibility based on performance Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
