Neuro Endovascular Fellowship–Trained Neurologist or Interventional Radiologist (Open Rank) The Department of Neurosurgery, Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, is seeking a full-time faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) for a Neuro Endovascular Fellowship–trained Neurologist or Interventional Radiologist. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and neuroradiologists dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, and research in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive neurointerventional and stroke care across UT Health San Antonio and affiliated hospitals. Participate in multidisciplinary cerebrovascular programs, including acute stroke intervention, aneurysm and AVM treatment, and advanced neuroendovascular procedures. Engage in clinical and/or translational research, with opportunities for collaboration within the department’s active neuroscience laboratories. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in neurology, radiology, and neurosurgery. Contribute to institutional and departmental service missions. Required Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent). Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Neurology or Diagnostic Radiology. Completion of a CAST- or ACGME-accredited fellowship in Neuro Endovascular Surgery (Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology). Board eligibility or certification in Neurology or Radiology. Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Texas. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in independent neuroendovascular procedures (diagnostic angiography, thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM/AVF embolization, carotid stenting, etc.). Record of scholarly activity (publications, presentations, grants, or clinical trial participation). Experience in academic medicine with a commitment to teaching and mentoring. Collaborative approach to patient care and research with multidisciplinary teams.
