Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery and maintain a sterile perioperative environment across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases as applicable
- Assist the surgical team and anesthesia providers, manage instruments and equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Monitor patient status during perioperative care, respond to changes, and document interventions and outcomes
- Uphold patient advocacy, accurate documentation, and clear handoffs to postoperative teams
- Adhere to professional practice standards, ethical guidelines, and applicable patient care policies and procedures

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work in an operating room/perioperative environment
- Knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and patient safety standards
- Commitment to professional practice standards and code of ethics
