The technician provides both onsite and remote support to customers, with regular travel required for installations, repairs, training, and service calls.Schedule: Full-time, remote-based with up to 60% travel to customer facilities for installations, repairs, training, and service calls.Compensation: $80,000 to $120,000 per year.What You'll DoThe technician installs, configures, maintains, and repairs CNC machine tools and automation systems for customers, providing both onsite and remote technical support. Work includes diagnosing mechanical, electrical, software, hardware, and basic networking issues, and troubleshooting CNC controls, machine control computers, monitoring systems, and related components. The role also involves replacing computer components, completing system configurations and repairs, and assisting customers with machine operation and general technical questions. The technician documents service activities, repairs, findings, and recommended follow-up actions after each visit, and escalates complex machine issues to engineering and technical support teams when needed.
