Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Infusion Services

Schedule: M-TH 8am-5pm (no lunch break) or M-TH 8am-5:30pm with 30 min lunch break

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in immunotherapy/chemotherapy specialty medications
- Experience with specialty IV fluids administration

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to infusion patients and coordinate referrals for further care.
- Oversee appointment scheduling and maintain documentation in patient charts.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with referring providers and patients.
- Administer specialty IV fluids and maintain IV access devices per established guidelines.
- Educate patients and families about care programs post-discharge.
- Participate in staff development activities to maintain professional knowledge.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must have the flu vaccine.
- Background checks and drug screens may be required prior to start.
- Orientation will be conducted before the start of the assignment.
