• Role: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Location: Lexington, KY 40536 (Lexington, Kentucky healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens / contract position (locum CRNA job)
• Start Date: August 17, 2026 (flexible start after August)
• Contract Length: 26 weeks, with options to extend
• Shifts: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00am - 5:30pm, ½-hour lunch)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,660 - $8,070
• Practice Setting: Hospital - Level 1 Trauma Center (hospital anesthesia position)
• EMR: EPIC preferred (experience with EPIC EMR a plus)

Job Requirements

• Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification (NBCRNA)
• Eligible for Kentucky state licensure (KY licensing support available; open to candidates who need to obtain licensure)
• Minimum 1 year recent CRNA experience in a large medical center (no new graduates)
• Required: Level 1 trauma experience (trauma anesthesia experience)
• COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical cases including Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurosurgery (no cardiac or OB cases)
• Perform advanced airway management and procedures including intubation, arterial line and central line placement
• Work collaboratively in a medically directed model with anesthesiologists, residents, and anesthesia techs (typical CRNA:MD ratios 2:1 or 3:1)
• Deliver comprehensive perioperative management for patients across age groups (excluding neonatal)
• Participate in Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) cases as required
• Accurately document anesthesia care and perioperative notes in EPIC (anesthesia documentation and EMR proficiency)
