What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive optical and medical eye examinations
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and diseases
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as needed
• Fit contact lenses and recommend eyewear products
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
• Collaborate with staff to ensure excellent patient service
• Stay current with the latest optometry developments and techniques

What You Need

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Active Alabama State Optometry License (candidates in process are encouraged to apply)
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
