Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Float between units as required, including Telemetry and Emergency Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with MEDITECH EHR system preferred.
