As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol Specialist in San Bernardino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to stay active, including bike patrols, while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues, and report findings through the appropriate chain of command.
• Support day-to-day operations by following post orders, assisting with directional information, and maintaining a professional presence during routine activities and/or public interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
