Manufacturing EngineerCompunetics, Inc. is a manufacturer of state-of-the-art rigid and flexible circuit boards producing products from fast turn high tech multilayer circuit board prototypes to non-traditional, high density and high-speed interconnects which serve a wide variety of customer requirements. Compunetics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of selected manufacturing processes and related process controls, strengthen existing controls and work instructions and to participate in engineering/quality activities.Responsibilities:Take ownership of selected manufacturing processes and related process controlsStrengthen existing controls and work instructionsIntroduce new controls as neededParticipate in engineering and quality activitiesAssess and monitor equipment and human resources to meet production requirementsSelect and make recommendations for new equipment to senior managementThis position may require direct supervision of Technicians and OperatorsRequirements:BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering3-5 years' experience in a PCB manufacturing environment with involvement and responsibility for process control, process improvement and new process development is requiredExperience with direct supervision of Junior Engineers, Technician or Operators is strongly preferredProblem solving, fail analysis, process control, process improvement, cost reduction, selection of new equipment, and personnel training is requiredStrong interpersonal and good computer skills requiredFamiliarity with SPC techniques and software, process control, and quality metrics is preferredWe offer competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
