We are seeking a talented Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation team. Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and trial strategy.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients on litigation risks and business objectives.
• Maintain regular communication with clients while providing practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with partners and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Stay current on Florida statutes, case law, and procedural developments.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience handling commercial litigation, business disputes, professional liability, insurance defense, construction litigation, or general civil litigation is highly desirable.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience.
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
