The Tax & Compliance Officer will be a highly experienced tax compliance professional to serve as a hands-on, independent contributor responsible for developing and managing all aspects of indirect tax and regulatory compliance. This role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive State Sales and Use Tax program across more than 40 states, including evaluation and implementation of tax automation solutions (e.g., Avalara). This role will also oversee corporate compliance requirements across jurisdictions, including business registrations, securities-related compliance filings, and other statutory obligations. The Tax & Compliance Officer will serve as the primary internal owner of tax risk management, compliance governance, and tax optimization initiatives. The position will coordinate the preparation and filing of federal and state corporate tax returns in partnership with external tax advisors and internal finance teams. Work is performed under intermediate supervision; however, the employee is expected to exercise independent judgment and discretion within the limits of established procedures.
